As a result of the sweeping recommendations by Illinois State Dental Society Board of Trustees & Governor Pritzker for the health and safety of the public, and to “flatten the curve for our health care workers and first responders” our office will be doing the following:
- For the two-week period beginning Tuesday, March 17th through Monday, May 4th, our office will treat only patients requiring emergency dental procedures. We are postponing all elective dental treatment and procedures during this period.
We take an incredible amount of pride in providing you and your families with the very best care available. During this two week period we will still be providing the following for our patients:
- If you are having a dental emergency such as dental pain or swelling, please call our office to schedule an appointment rather than taking up precious space in a hospital ER. You can reach us at 630-904-7100 to schedule.
- Tracey, our office manager, will be available during regular business hours to answer your questions and communicate directly with patients who have appointments scheduled during this time.
- You can still contact us to schedule hygiene and elective treatment with our office for the month of April and beyond. As of now, our office will be open for regular business on April 1st.
In the next two weeks, we anticipate that the Centers for Disease Control, American Dental Association and Illinois Department of Public Health may establish additional safety measures above and beyond our already comprehensive universal standards of infection control. By taking these additional precautions, we hope to minimize the long-term impact in the community by the spread of this virus.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this trying time.
Dr. Julie Romanelli
